Forces & Motion

Forces & Motion

Hello students! I hope you all enjoy using this blog and using the web to learn more on forces and motion. Now remember, all of you must individually turn in a paper with your answers to the questions I ask you below. However, you ARE allowed to work TOGETHER! Remember to use the worksheet we worked on yesterday to help you answer some of the questions. I want well thought-out answers explained in the terms we learned in class. Now let's begin..

1.) What does the first marble lose, and why does it lose this?
2.) The momentum is transferred when the second marble is introduced, but what stops them so quickly?
3.) What is the third marble? (Hint: it helped cause a greater force on the other marbles.)

4.) What happens to the forces as the skydiver falls through the air?
5.) What pulls the skydiver immediately to the ground?
6.) What does it mean when forces are balanced?

7.) Give another example of gravity.
8.) Give another example of magnetism.

That concludes the blog assignment! I hope you all have a piece of paper with YOUR individual answers on it. Please turn them into me before you leave class today! If you have any other questions, please bring them tomorrow to class; this is when we will be wrapping up forces and motion. Also, know your worksheet on forces and motion that we worked on yesterday in class and the examples in this blog..there may or may not be a pop quiz tomorrow..hint hint.
